Helen Reed

Helen Reed (nee Galanopoulos), 96 of Mokena formerly of Dolton, passed away on January 14, 2017. Loving wife of the late Virgil Reed; beloved mother of Bill (Jeanne) Reed; cherished grandmother of the late Anthony Reed and William Reed; dearest sister of the late Jim Galanopoulos, late Pete Galanopoulos, late Angie Van Mershburgen, late Marian Wallerstead and late Kay Wallace. Helen was a former member of St. Constantine Greek Orthodox Church in Palos Hills. Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Mokena United Methodist Church, 10901 LaPorte Rd. Mokena IL 60448 from 3:00PM until time of funeral service at 5:00PM. Interment will be held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
