Age 93, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Edmond Baron Sr.; loving mother of the late Edmond Jr. (late Carol) Baron, late John (Odette) Baron, and Patricia (Mitchell) Mazur; cherished grandmother of Jon (Jennifer) Baron, Stacy (Mike) Malone, Shannon (Dino) Poulakis, and Mathew (Stephanie) Baron and great-grandmother of Jack, Audrey, and Lila Prindeville, Carley and Josh Baron, Constantino Poulakis, and Reise, Lanie, and Trey Malone. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Helen Dawe (Sloan). Helen was an active member of St. Elizabeth Seton in Orland Park, where she was involved in Seniors of Seton and Art and the Environment. She retired from Whiting Corporation in the Inventory Control department after 14 years of dedicated employment. Memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org would be appreciated. Due to the Covid-19 and the IDPH Funeral Home guidelines the services will be held private for the family.
