56, of Joliet, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2020. Hallie was born in Joliet, to William and Julia “Judy” (nee Moore) Matile. Beloved wife of Joe Casas; loving mother of Jessica (Michael) Laage, Elizabeth (JP Lewis) Casas, and Jamey Casas; cherished grandmother of Madison, Emma, and Aubrey Laage; dear sister of Cyndi (Mike) Ceranski and Michele (Thomas) Vana; sister-in-law of Lorenzo Casas and Daniel (Monica) Casas; loved aunt of Connie Casas, Lena (Taylor) Post, Katie (fiancé Matt Kasper) Ceranski, Matthew (Morgan McCarey) Vana, Amy (fiancé Mitchell Cunningham) Vana, and the late Jay Vana. Hallie was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Lorenzo and Delia (nee Garcia) Casas. Private family services were held. A Celebration of Hallie’s Life will be held at a later date.
