Age 68, a resident of New Lenox, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019. Beloved husband of Diane Bartz (Knox); loving father of Keri and Kimberly Bartz; cherished papa of Brittany, Kayla, and Tayler; dear brother of Jeanine (Tom) Sherman, Charleen (Tom) Dillman, Doreen (Kevin) Becklin, Arlene (Wes) Francis, Brian (Joyce) Bartz, and Joshua (Randi) Bartz; also survived by Kathleen White, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Francis Bartz (Miller). Greg enjoyed building various items and gardening. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 4-8 PM. Funeral service Thursday, October 24, 2019 with chapel prayers at 10:45 AM to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15050 Wolf Rd., Orland Park, IL 60467 for a 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
