Gloria M. Szablewski (nee Allain)

A resident Mokena passed away peacefully on March 12, 2014 at home with her family by her side.

She is survived by her loving family; children Linda (William) Sullivan, Darlene (John) Yack, Frank (Patricia) Szablewski, Candice (William) Teske, Greg (Wendi) Szablweski; daughter-in-law Rose Szablewski; sister Lorraine Overend; grandchildren Keith (Michelle) Sullivan, Chris (Sandy) Sullivan, Nicholas (Jennifer) Yack, Brian Yack, Dan (Sarah) Szablewski, Stevie Szablewski, Laura Szablewski, Corrin Teske, Troy Teske, Alyssa Teske, Cody Teske, Gage Szablewski, Blaine Szablewski, Peyton Szablewski, Rylie Szablewski, Maisyn Szablewski, Paul Szablewski, Christy Szablewski, April Szablewski and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Szablewski; father George Harrison; mother Emily (nee Kieren) Aho and son Mike Szablewski.

Gloria enjoyed decorating her home for every holiday.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 3 until 8pm. Funeral service on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to American Cancer Society or Harbor Light Hospice would be appreciated.
