George K. “Bud” Malcheff
95 of Frankfort passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his home. Bud was born in Chicago to the late George and Marie (nee Kyle) Malcheff. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Kuhl) Malcheff; loving father of Sue (Jerry) Wessel and Julie Malcheff; cherished grandfather of Kaylee Wessel and Ali Wessel; dear brother of the late Jean (late George) Bauer; many great friends also survive. Bud will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was retired from U.S. Steel where he was a Superintendent and was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. In lieu of flowers memorials in Bud’s name to Heritage Baptist Church, Frankfort, IL would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Frankfort on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00am until time of Memorial Service at 12:00pm. Interment will be private.
