GEORGE A. LONGINO

Age 92, of Frankfort passed away Thursday, November 19th, 2020 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

George is survived by his loving family, children, Georgette (Kevin) Lane, Andrea (Ricky) Spring, Eric (Debra) Longino, Karen Longino, Kurt (Marcia) Longino, sister, Dolores West, grandchildren, Sean Lane, Jessica (Andy) Jackson, Ashley (Adam) Stickels, Shanna Longino, Joshua Longino, Nicholas Perritano, Jeremy Adams, Brandon Goldfuss, Keith (Claudia) Longino, Manny (Samantha) Longino, Kyle Longino, great grandchildren, Samuel Jackson, Dean Jackson, Cassidy Jackson, Katelyn Perritano, Hailey Perritano, Hannah Longino, and Aiden Longino.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Liberty Longino (Pavesic), wife, Donna Longino (Swanson), grandson, Ryan Adams, siblings, Richard Longino, Thomas Longino and Paul Longino.

George was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mokena, the Elk’s Club and US Navy Veteran. He greatly enjoyed cooking, golfing and spending time with his family and friends.

DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC; MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL SERVICES.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, November 29th, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, November 30th, 2020 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue, Mokena, IL 60448 for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM. INTERMENT WILL BE PRIVATE at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
