Age 100 of Lockport formerly of Lemont passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Salem Village Nursing Home in Joliet.

Genevieve is survived by her loving family, daughter Barbara (John) McCarthy; grandchildren Patrick (Ronda), Karen (Alfie), Shawn (Marlene), Kimberly, Erin, Shannon (Kathy) and Mary Beth (Dennis); great grandchildren Adam, Kensy, Liam, Hayley, Noah, Cassidy, Jennifer, Melissa, Kati, Laci, Jared, Dillon, Trevor, Ryan and Jason; great great grandchildren Milly, Emma, Ireland, Elle, Brayden, Kylie, Liliana, Audio and Rayla.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brothers, husband Ennis Ballew and great granddaughter Shannon McCarthy.

Genevieve was able to celebrate her 100th birthday with family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Goodale Memorial Chapel 912 S. Hamilton St. Lockport IL 60441. and again on , Wednesday, May 27th, 2015 at at Homer Congregational Church 14832 W. 163rd St Homer Glen IL 60441 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service at 11:00AM with a luncheon to follow at the church.
