76, of Mokena, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at Advocate South Suburban Hospital, Hazel Crest, IL. Gary was born in Oak Park, IL to the late Fredrick Dortmann and Lillian (nee Lewis) Susdorf. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Kuech); loving father of Valerie (the late Jimmy) Harbin; cherished grandfather of Cody and Megan Harbin; dear brother of the late Diane Susdorf. Gary was retired from Borg Warner in Bellwood, IL and a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mokena, IL. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral Service Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Country Club Hills, IL. Social distancing and masks are MANDATORY for ALL in attendance. No food allowed in the funeral home.
