January 2, 1937 — April 11, 2020

Frank Phillip Langley, “Phil,” born January 2, 1937 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, passed away on April 11, 2020. Preceded in death by parents Clarence “Pete” Langley and Jessie Langley nee Green, Phil leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of almost 60 years,
Mary Margaret “Margo” Langley nee Schrack, his son Peter Langley (Patricia Tiernan) and daughters Margaret Langley Sakka and Kathrynne Saunders (Christopher). He will also be cherished in the memories of his five beloved grandchildren Noura, Faris, Nadia, Ryan,
and Cormac, and by his brother William Langley (Pamela) and his children.

Phil lived out his life with great passion, including his love of Harness Horse Racing. He served as Director of Racing at Sportsman’s Park and Balmoral Park, as well as the President of the United States Trotting Association for thirteen years. Phil was inducted
into the Harness Racing Hall of Fame in 2007. Phil’s relationship with harness racing began while watching his father work at Wisconsin fairs and led him to a lifelong love of the sport.

Phil loved his family and loved his work. He enjoyed tennis and golf, traveling the world with Margo, and spending time with his family. He loved telling stories and making others laugh, often cracking himself up in the process. He was generous to all. He will be
deeply missed and forever loved.
