FRANK M. TOKARZ

Age 92, of Justice, passed away Saturday, April 17th, 2021 at his home in Justice.

Frank is survived by his loving family, life companion, Joan Knable, children, Caroline (Jim) Garetson, Francine (Robert) Uhlarik, Louis Tokarz, Bette (Jay) Lazo, Steven (Michelle) Tokarz, grandchildren, Jennifer (Craig) Meyer, James (Dragana) Garetson, Jarred (Tiffany) Garetson, Therese (John) O’Donnell, Danielle (Andy) St. Clair, Carla (Matt) Cupp, Nicholas Lazo, Justin Gember, Amanda (Drake) Morris, Kyle Tokarz, Ryan Tokarz, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Francis (Stella) Tokarz (Pigulska), Lillian Tokarz (Krzeminski), former wife, Lucille Keselica (Powers), siblings, John Tokarz, Regina Sindelar, Mary Ann Tokarz, Norbert Tokarz and Thaddeus Tokarz.

Frank was a Union Plumber in Local #130 in Chicago for over 40 years and a member of the Chicago Public Auto School and member of St. Rene Catholic Church in Chicago. Due to his love for science and anatomy, Frank graciously donated his body to science and a future interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.

A special “Thank You” to Frank’s earth angels, Erin, Kerryn, Stephanie, Helena and James who brought him laughter, comfort and astounding care. Our dad and his children truly “Thank You”.

Family will receive friends at St. Rene Goupil Catholic Church, 6949 West 63rd Place, Chicago IL 60638 on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 from 9:15 AM until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.
