Francis “Frank” T. Costello

Age 91 of Homer Glen formerly of New Lenox, passed away on Tuesday, December 24th, 2019. Loving Husband of the late Anne; beloved father of Michael (Julie), Robert (Susan), Carol (Bruce) Crossett, Jean (Ricky) Lawrence and Philip (Sheila); dearest son of the late Francis and Delia; fond brother of late Pat (late John) Brooks; cherished grandfather of Laura, Katie, Carolyn, Erin, Mathew, Colleen, Kelly, Annie and Michael; proud great grandfather of Tucker, Tanner, Tate, Madeline Rose, Jacob, Beckett, Bailey, Dean, Leo and Stellen. Frank was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard serving in WWII, a graduate of Lewis University in Romeoville, worked as an aircraft mechanic for American Airlines for 25 years retiring in 1990, a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox, American Legion and Knights of Columbus. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, December 29th, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment Monday, December 30, 2019 meet at funeral home at 12:00 Noon to drive in procession to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, or meet at cemetery at 1:30PM.
