Age 91 passed away Saturday September 7, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. A resident of Lockport for 19 years, formerly of the south side of Chicago, Eugene was a veteran of the US Army, lifetime member of both the VFW and the Independent Order of Foresters. He was also a patron of many Lockport establishments. Eugene is survived by his loving wife Dolores Daciolas; beloved son Michael (Jennifer) Daciolas; brother-in-law Gary (the Late Deborah) Parkinson; grandchildren Kevin, Kristina, Mikayla, and Matthew; great-grandchildren Hailee, Vincent, Eli, Jackson, and Leland. He is preceded in death by his son Steven Daciolas; his parents and a brother John (Jean) Daciolas. A visitation Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 3 – 9 pm at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 11 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 401 Brassel St., Lockport, IL 60441. Services conclude at the church, cremation rites to be accorded.
