Age77, of New Lenox formerly of Matteson and Chicago, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Loving sister of Dolores (late Charles) Peters of Orland Park, IL, Ruth Gerlach of New Lenox, IL, Joseph (Judith) Gerlach of St. John, Indiana and the late Mary Louise Redden; beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Gerlach; cherished aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Betty worked for Allstate Insurance Company as a Clerk in the claims Department for over 40 years in the Matteson, IL and Chicago IL offices. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Prayers in the funeral home chapel on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 9:30 AM leaving for St. Jude Catholic Church for a 10:00Am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
