Elaine C. Kuhn (Curtis)
A proud daughter of an Irish mother and a Greek father, Elaine Constance Kuhn, nee Curtis, age 88, died peacefully at home in Mokena the morning after hosting her annual Easter dinner for family. She will be remembered as an extraordinary wife for 63 years to her late husband, Bill, and a loving mother to her four sons, Daniel, Michael (Kathy), Lawrence (LeeAnn), and Timothy (Trish), and a devoted grandmother to Curtis (Brigid), Elizabeth (Andy), Peter, Kevin, Colin, Emmett, and Kevin II. She was a happy great-grandmother of baby Andrew Curtis Tomka. She will also be remembered for her beauty, goodness, and kindness.
She was a loving sister to the late Charles Curtis, the late Jim (Teri) Curtis, the late Margaret (Gregory) Burns, the late Daphne (Paul) Johnson, the late Irene (John) Menig, and Nancy (Len) Danca. She was a fond sister-in-law of Alice and Jim Allen and a caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue, Mokena.
