66, of New Lenox, passed away Tuesday, March 5th, 2013. Born in Chicago to the late Edwin Sr. and Agnes (nee Shields) Colby. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Prochot); Loving father of; Edwin III (Lynnette) Colby and Amanda Colby; Dear brother of; John (Joan) Colby, Donna (Roger) Hawkins, Patricia (the late Anthony) Brzostowski, Paulette (Larry) Powaga, Edwina (Bill) Bock and the late Joseph Edwin (in infancy); also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Edwin was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and former Chicago and Rockdale Police Officer. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Saturday, March 9th, 2013 from 12:00 Noon until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 PM. Interment private.
