Edward William Kosteck Jr.

Age 33 of New Lenox passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Eddie was born in Palos Heights, IL to Edward W. Sr. and Catherine J. (nee Pease) Kosteck. Preceded in death by his brother Kevin (2020), maternal grandparents Frank and Florence Pease, and paternal grandmother Kathleen Kosteck. Survived by his loving family; parents Edward Sr. and Catherine; grandfather Edward Kosteck; siblings Samantha (Jeremy) Nagy, Caitlin (Kevin) Ryan, Jacqueline (Robert) Schabes, Jillian (Stephen) Naples, Kyle (Hannah) Kosteck, and Kenneth (Mikaela) Kosteck; also survived by many nieces and nephews that he greatly adored (Nalani, Karter, Kenny, Raelynn, Nash, Savana, Robert, Navy, Lilyana, Nina, Margot, Riley & Kevin) aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Eddie was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and he enjoyed playing hockey. He was a skilled electrician and member of IBEW Local 134. In his free time, he loved hunting and fishing with his dad, brothers & uncles. Eddie loved spending time with his dog, Ella too. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eddie’s name to www.trinityservices.org/donate would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 4 – 8pm. Funeral Services Wednesday, June 21, 2023, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am then to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
