Edward M. Mulheran

Age 84, of Mokena, formerly of Oak Lawn, Illinois passed away on December 3, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Loving husband of the late Rosemary (Scales) Mulheran; beloved father of the late Erin Mulheran-Biggerstaff, Mary Pat (Jim) Stewart, Brian (Joyce) Mulheran, Daniel Mulheran, Bridget (Vern) Abel and Kerry Hannigan; dearest brother of Marion (late Roger) McGreal, late Dolores (late Jim) Thompson, Betty (late Jack) Rohrer and late Marge (late Tom) Garvey; cherished grandfather of Brendan (Gretchen) Mulheran, Cara (Ryan) Friedman, and Grace Mulheran, Abigail Abel, Allison Abel, Ashley Abel and Anna Abel, Sean Stewart, Dan Stewart, Molly Rose Stewart, Michael Stewart, and Ryan Stewart, Kyle Biggerstaff, Clare Hannigan and Kelly Hannigan; proud great grandfather of Conor Mulheran and Cooper Friedman; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and a good friend to many.

Ed proudly served our country in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran. He was a devoted member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #73 and was a 67 year member in good standing.

A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, Illinois on Sunday, December 6, 2020 from 3pm to 8pm.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, December 7, 2020, 12:00pm at St. Mary Catholic Church 19515 115th Ave, Mokena, Illinois.
Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, Illinois.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
