85, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Ed was born in Joliet to the late Clark and Frances (nee Humbert) Garland. Survived by his loving family; his sons Ed Jr. (Laurie) and Richard (Susan); his brothers, George (Barbara), Donald (the late Judy); his sisters, Betty (the late Bob) Stukel and Norma (the late Don) Alberg; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by; his parents; his son Billy; his daughters Pam Ryan and Yvonne Kitchens-Crisp; his brothers Clark (the late Bernie), John (Dollie), and Bill (Alice). Ed was the owner of Garland Mobil in Joliet for over 50 years. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment, Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet.
