EDWARD F. BEYER, JR.

Age 78 of Joliet, passed away Monday, January 21st, 2013 at his home in Joliet.

Edward is survived by his loving family, wife, Joyce Beyer (Palmer), children, Greg (Lynn) Beyer, Diane (Barry) Wittig, Shawn (Joanne) Beyer, Melissa (Gabriel) Glovier, Quinton Beyer, 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Margaret Beyer, Sr., (Fish), sister, Audrey Floyd, daughters, Janice Williams and Julie Beyer.

Edward was United States Veteran in both the Army and Navy. He was a former member of Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church in Lockport where he was very active in the Dartball league. Edward was a current member of St. John Lutheran Church in Joliet and an active member of the choir as well. He was also a lifetime member of the PTA and a member of the Dale AC.

Family will receive friends at St. John Lutheran Church, 2650 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL 60435 Sunday, January 27th, 2013 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM with a brief prayer service at 6:45 PM. Funeral service, Monday, January 28th, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the church. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
