EDWARD A. MAJOR

Age 94, longtime resident of Lockport, passed away Monday November 4th, 2013 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

Edward is survived by his loving family, children, Judy (Richard) Ellen, Janet (Richard) Simpson, Joseph (Becky) Major, Jeffrey (Cindy) Major, grandchildren, Jason Simpson, Robb (Melissa) Simpson, Kaley Major, Jaclyn Major, great grandchildren, Ian Simpson and Abbey Simpson.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman & Anna Major (Galick) and wife, Lois Major (Boe).

Edward was a WWII Army veteran. He was a loving father, grandfather and an extremely skilled woodworker.

Military Honors and interment will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421 at 9:30 AM.
