Earl A. Miller, age 89, a longtime resident of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. Loving husband of the late Cynthia A. Miller; beloved father of Earl M. (Cheri) Miller, Nadine Gingerich, Andrea Swanson, and Claudia Vilillo; dearest brother of the late Donald (late Marie) Miller and the late Jeanette (late Alec) Commander; cherished grandfather of Michael Miller, Katherine (Marc) Wolf, Matthew Miller, Charlie (Afton) Swanson, Kaile (Christopher) Anderson, Tristan (Gretchen) Gingerich, Brean (Shawn) Epp, Theran (Karli) Gingerich and Caylan Gingerich; proud great grandfather of Paisley, Jack, Emmitt, Ethan, Logan, Liana, Matthew, Anika, Nathan, Henry, Eleanor and Audrey. Earl was a loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Earl was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean Conflict. He worked as an electrical engineer for Picker Xray in Chicago. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort, a member of the Will County Beekeepers Association, Frankfort Lions Club, the Mason’s, and the American Legion. A memorial visitation will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort IL 60423 on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lions Club would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements handled by Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423
