57, of New Lenox, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Doug was born in Lodi, CA to the late David and Evelynn (nee Rea) Stewart. Beloved husband of Tammy (nee Davis); loving father of Adam, Cassie (Tim) Evans, and Ryan; cherished “Papa” of Connor and Shane Evans; dear brother of Lori (Gary) Wenninghoff, Daniel, and the late Davey (Sheryl); fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews; friend of many. Doug was a Construction Manager with Comcast where he was employed for over 37 years. Family will receive at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 3:00pm until time of Services at 8:00pm. Interment will be private.
