Donald W. Haberkamp

Donald W. Haberkamp, age 71, a resident of New Lenox, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 22, 2022 with his family by his side. Loving husband of Diane (Wojcik) Haberkamp; beloved father of Christina (Joseph) Paleczny and Kurt (Amanda Butlett) Haberkamp; dearest brother of Henry "Skip" (late Alice) Haberkamp, late Harold Haberkamp, Susan (late Kenneth) O'Tyson and Daniel (Teresa) Haberkamp; fond brother-in-law of Denise Wojcik; cherished grandfather of Owen Paleczny, and the late Marrisa Paleczny and Madison (Kaden) Jenkins; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Donald was a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving in Vietnam. He was a former employee of Columbia Metal Spinning and a retired foreman for Jernberg Industries. A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Inurnment will follow to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Miracle League of Joliet or Project Mobility would be appreciated.
