DEHNERT, DONALD J.
Don Dehnert, age 77, beloved husband of Linda nee Wojtanowski, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Don is survived by his five children, Patty Hileman, Mike (Cindy) Dehnert, Lorraine (Vince) Frammartino, Cheryl (David) Louttit and Mark (Lori) Dehnert, as well as step-children, Lisa (Brent) Estes and Rob (Julia) Labuda. Dear grandfather of Gayle, Natasha, Kristina, Ashley, Lauren, Logan, Vince, Taylor, Lauren, Emma, A.J., Ellie, Eli, Owen and preceded in death by Ian. Loving great-grandfather of seven. Don is also survived by his sister Carole Fariss and brother Alan (Joan).
A celebration of Don's life will be held at Kurtz Funeral Home in New Lenox on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. On Friday, October 17, there will be a visitation at 9:00 a.m. at Kurtz with a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. with interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood at noon.
Don enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Michigan and will be remembered as a devoted family man with a great sense of humor and a nickname for everyone he met. Don will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
