David Rudolph Farris

David Rudolph Farris, age 75, a resident of New Lenox formerly longtime of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. Loving husband of Peggy Farris (Epperson); children Eric (Margie) Farris and Amy Verhulst; dearest son of the late Hal and Vada (Rudoph) Farris, Sr.; dear brother of Hal (late Betty) Farris, Jr., Cynthia Farris and the late Ada Mae (Norb) Przybylski; cherished grandfather of Reese, Ryan, Heath, Daisy and Nathan. David was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. He was an electrician for Continental Electric and a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Church in Frankfort where he served as a deacon. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM with a funeral service in the home chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment with military honors will follow to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Lighthouse Fellowship Church would be appreciated.
