David E. Burja

David Edward Burja, beloved father, son, and brother passed away in Kankakee, IL on October 4th, 2022.

He was born on October 24th, 1991 to Jennifer M. Bailey and David E Prack in Harvey, IL. David was a family man, as his family was the most important thing to him. No matter who you are, David would always pull you in for a hug. He enjoyed riding his bike. David was the type of person to give you the shirt off his back. He was a kid at heart and was always joking around to make everybody laugh. He was a handyman and very diligent of his work in HVAC.

David is preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Burja; his great-grandfathers Larry Leffler and Frank Burja; great-grandmothers, Jean Burja and Donna Prack; and cousins, Mathew, Bryce, and Daniel

He is survived by his children Mathew, Xander, and Natalia; mother, Jennifer (Carlton); father, David; and siblings Joseph T, Alexander, Samantha, Ashley, Joey P, Katylynn, and Grace.

Services for David will be held on Friday, October 14th, 2022, at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. in New Lenox, with a visitation from 2pm until the time of service at 6pm.
