It is with regret that the family of Darlene JoAnn Lattimer announces her passing on the 31st of October 2022 in Will County, Illinois. Darlene JoAnn Paulson was born in Joice, Worth Co., Iowa on the 9th of September 1933 to the late Kermit S. Paulson and Velma M. Ferris. A graduate of Atlantic High School, in Atlantic, Iowa in 1951. She continued her education at Monticello College in Godfrey, Illinois and completed it at the University of Northern Iowa with a MILS degree. Her hobbies included travel, golfing, boating and gardening. She was a member of the ELCA. She was married to three gentlemen who predeceased her. Kenneth W. Winston, married 1953, Samuel O. Fox, married 1968 and Michael H. Lattimer, married 1983. In addition to her spouses, she was predeceased by two children, Deidre Joan Winston and Kent Wellington Winston. A brother, Kary Scott Paulson, also predeceased her. She is survived by a daughter, Laura Jo Sperstad, née Winston, husband Eric, one son, Jon Ferris Winston, wife Wakaba. Additionally, four step children Ann Fox, husband Rich, Mark Fox, Lance Lattimer and Laura Lattimer. Also surviving are three grandchildren Dylan and Zachariah Sperstad, Ken S. Winston, and one step grandchild, Michael Lattimer. One great granddaughter, Violet. The ceremony was private and the family requests no memorials.
