Age 73, a resident of New Lenox, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019. Beloved husband of Sharon (Haack); loving father of Bethany (Eric) Liszkiewicz; cherished grandfather of Daniel Powers, Grace and Alexander Liszkiewicz; dear brother of Martin (Bridgette) Obuchina; also survived by his beloved dog Sydney. He enjoyed building and flying radio- controlled air planes, a member of the Joliet Radio Control Club and past member of the Wide Water’s Yacht Club. Dan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be always remembered and never forgotten. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a private Memorial Service beginning at 8:00 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to P.A.W.S Animal Shelter, 8301 W. 191st St., Tinley Park, IL 60487 would be appreciated.
