D.C. Epperson, age 90 of Frankfort formerly of Midlothian, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 a WWII U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany. Beloved husband of the late Lois M. Epperson; loving father of Peggy (David) Farris, George "Bo" (Sheila) Epperson, Vickey (Phillip) Estrada and Paula (Terry) Burns; fond brother of George (Christine) Epperson; cherished grandfather of 7 and proud great grandfather of 10. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 9:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Lighthouse Fellowship Church 8128 W. Lincoln Highway, Frankfort IL 60423 would be appreciated.
