Age 63 a longtime resident of New Lenox formerly of Joliet Passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet. Cynthia was an Administrative assistant of the Fire Department of Argonne National Laboratory in Darian for over 25 years Loving mother of Noelle Hijuelos; beloved sister of Gloria (Stephen) Miller; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Fern (nee Keeley) Fothergill and a sister Marlene Dougherty. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 9:00am until time of funeral Service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30am. Interment will be private.
