Sheldon Curtis Goldsmith, 63 of New Lenox, formerly of Harvey, IL passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Fountain, MI. Curt was born in Blue Island to the late Sheldon and Joyce (nee Sells) Goldsmith. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Carlson); loving father of Stacy (Edward) Ludwig and Robbie Goldsmith; cherished grandfather (GAKA) of Brooklynn and Jack Ludwig, dear brother of Linda (Tom) Gay, Karen (Al) Tediski, Penny (Rich) Ramos, and David (Kim) Goldsmith; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Curt was an Estimator for J & L Metal Doors for over 30 years, avid Tennessee Volunteers and sports fan, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 2pm – 7pm. Funeral Service Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL.
