Chester J. Soltys 82, of Frankfort, passed away Dec 28, 2012 at his home surrounded by his entire family. Born in Chicago to the late Joseph and Sophie (nee Kurzeja) Soltys, beloved husband of Margaret (nee Lewandoski) of 56 years; loving father and hero of Joseph (LeAnne), Margaret (Rick) Starke, Kathleen (John) Sandmann, and Charles (Tricia). Proud Papa of Bailee (Travis) Myers, Robby Soltys, Erick, Megan, Kevin and Tyler Starke, C.J. and Evan Sandmann, Katianne and Charlie Soltys; Brother of the late Theresa Milewski; Godfather of Tom Lewandoski, Lorri Ann Milewski, Jean Marie Lewicki, and Roberta Brenza; Uncle to many. Retired Marketing Engineer for ComEd, proud U. S. Air Force veteran, member of the American Legion, avid golfer and Official Softball Umpire. Deeply devoted Husband and family man who treasured attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting and school events. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Chester's honor to HONOR THE FALLEN FOUNDATION (www.honorthefallen.org). Visitation Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 3 to 9PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. Funeral Service, Thursday, January 3, 2013, with prayers at 9:30AM to St. Anthony Catholic Church 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
