Charles S. Coke

Age 84, of Mokena formerly of New Lenox and Posen, born and raised in Brookhaven Mississippi, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife Kathryn "Louise" Coke (nee Hampton); beloved daughters Cynthia (Al) Stein and Denise (Harold) Towry; Cherished grandchildren Luke and April Towry and Adam Hite; fond great grandchildren Drew and Scarlett Towry; Dear brother Lynn (Carolyn) Coke. He was preceded in death by his parents Boliver and Emma (nee Jordan) Coke; children Charles "Steve" and Amy Coke; grandson Drew Towry and brothers Bob and Willard Coke and a sister Prudence Parnell. He worked for Grand Trunk/Canadian Railroad for 35 years retiring in 1990 and a member of Lincolnway Christian Church in New Lenox. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way Frankfort IL 60423 from 3 until 9pm. Funeral service on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10:30am in the funeral home chapel. Interment to St. John Cemetery in Mokena.
