Charlie G. Cooper
Age 15, a resident of New Lenox, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Beloved son of Charles Cooper and Bobbi Zuidema; cherished grandson of George Zuidema; treasured nephew of Kelly (Frank) Suppes, Bill (Sheila) Cooper, Susan (Brian) West, Carolyn (Steve) Kamp, Brenda (Rick) Ostapovich, Kristen (Sean) Byrt, Darcy Drew and Dan Drew; also survived by numerous loving cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Dianna Zuidema (Schaufele) and paternal grandparents Glen and Elaine Cooper (Cosek). Charlie was a freshman honor roll student at Lincoln Way Central High School. He graduated 8th grade from Alex J. Martino Junior High School with high honors and was granted the Presidents Award. Charlie enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his friends and family. He loved being in the company of other people and animals, especially his dogs Jack, Palmer, and the late Scout. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 2-9 PM. Funeral service Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment private.
