84, late of New Lenox, formerly of Summit passed away Tuesday, August 02, 2011 at his home. Born in Summit to the late Michael and Frances (nee Strzelczyk) Stawski; beloved husband of Joan (nee Fitzgibbons); loving father of Nancy (James) Gilbert, Lawrence (the late Helga), Sharon (David) Martiniak and Gary (Cynthia); dear grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of three. Bruno was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. Bruno was a Sterilizer Operator for Johnson and Johnson, Bedford Park. He was one of the Founders of the 5800 Dominos Athletic Club in Summit. In lieu of flowers memorials to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 3-8PM. Funeral Service Friday, August 5, 2011 with prayers at 11:30AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00Noon.
