66, late of New Lenox, formerly of Crete passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Brian was born in Chicago to the late Matthew M. and Gertrude (nee Parks) Buchler. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Fahey); Loving father of Michael (Kimberly) Buchler and Jennifer Mox; Cherished grandfather of Avery Karen, and Ainsley Kimberlyn Buchler, Madicyn Jo and Maecyn Rae Mox; Dear brother of Douglas (Joan), Jack (Judy), Matthew (Robyn), Joanne (the late David) Pedric, Elaine (the late William) Graham, Eileen (the late James) Kupiainen and Susan (William) Brassfield. Brian was the owner of Valley Piping Inc. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 4th Infantry Div. serving in Vietnam 1966—967. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Brian's name can be made to University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center at Silver Cross Hospital Carolyn J. Czerkies Pavilion. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Memorial Service on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 11:00AM. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
