Age 89, of Lockport, passed away Friday, May 1st, 2015 at Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook.

Betty is survived by her loving family, children, Robert L. (Linda) Svoboda, Jr., John (Rita) Svoboda, Carol (Larry) Mattis, Kristine (Ken) Toigo, JoAnn (James) McGloin, siblings, Roseanne Wilson, Kenneth Norton, Shirley Lindberg, 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Pearl Norton (Rossio), husband, Robert L. Svoboda, Sr. and siblings Joseph Bertot and Harold Norton.

Betty was a member of the Lockport Moose Chapter #575, the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW in Lockport and St. Dennis Catholic Church in Lockport.
