Age 89, of New Lenox, passed away Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Betty is survived by her loving family, children, Mark (Janice) Maxwell, Marcia Maxwell, grandson, Nicholas Dopudja, sisters in law, Florence Nepote, Dorothy Brown, niece and nephews, Susan (Steven) Hunt, Jeff (Sharon) Nepote, Steve Nepote and her beloved pets, Stella and Annie.

Betty was preceded in death by her parent, John & Mary Nepote, husband, Frank Maxwell, children, Marybeth Dopudja, Greg Maxwell, brother, Donald Nepote.

Betty was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox and the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW. She was an avid bowler and tennis player and greatly enjoyed being a mother and grandmother.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, March 7th, 2019 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL.
