Age 86, of Matteson, passed away Monday, July 12th, 2021at Palos Heights Rehabilitation Center in Crestwood.

Bernadine is survived by her loving family, husband, Robert Proudfoot, children, Bobby Proudfoot, Scotty Proudfoot, Thomas Stewart, Charles Stewart, Anette Stewart, Daniel (Ellen) Stewart, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents, John & Lucile Ditch (Swedlin), siblings, Edward Ditch and Richard Ditch.

Bernadine was a longtime member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Frankort and active member of the Quilting Guild. She was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and loved to play bingo and spend time with her grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, July 15th, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Friday, July 16th, 2021 at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 12 W.
