Age 94, of Joliet, IL passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at Salem Village in Joliet, IL. Bernie was born in Ladd, IL to the late John and Josephine (King) Hinton. Dear sister of the late John (Cathy) Hinton, and the late Emil E.J. (Julia) Hinton, and Albert Hinton; loved aunt of several nieces and nephews; also survived by her dear friends David and Annie Nelson and their family. Bernie worked as a cashier at A&P until they closed, and then as a nanny/housekeeper. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Private family services were held.
