Arthur C. Lange

Arthur C. Lange, 87, of Homer Glen, IL, formerly from Wascott, WI) passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 12, 2023. He was born January 23, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Irving and Joy Lange. Art lived in the Minong/Wascott area for 44 years, where he was an avid bowler, fisherman, and was a member of the Gordon-Wascott Fire Department and EMS.

He is survived by two daughters, Cathy (Steve) Lauring, Laurie Lange; and one grandchild, Krista Lauring. Also, he's survived by his sister Esther Williams, who took care of him for the last nine years, and many nieces and nephews.

We will all miss his ocean of good qualities. He never complained, he cared for everyone around him, and was generous to many charities to help others. We're grateful for his unassuming, humble nature, and his constant mischievous sense of humor that brought so much joy and laughter to everyone around him. Art found friendship and community in his local Lutheran churches, and in later years, the Senior Citizens Center.

May he continue his journey now, knowing how much he is loved, and may he be comforted by how much benefit he brought to the world during his long and accomplished life.
