Age 100, a devout Christian, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Jon Tinman Sr., loving mother of Tuni (Rev. Dr. Jack) Miller, Alan (Marcia) Tinman, Brian Tinman, also survived by her dear daughter-in-law Carol Tinman; cherished grandmother of Tracy (Justin) Konrath, Caryn (Gerritt) VanDerBilt, Amy (Joe) Snow, Jon Tinman, Scott (Rhonda) Miller, and Sue Miller and great-grandmother of Reese and Olivia; and dear friend to many. She was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Jane Tinman, son Hugh Jon Tinman Jr., parents Laurence and Pearl Wilson (Myers) and brother Carroll Wilson. Ardith was a United States Registered Nurse Army Veteran, member of the Romeoville American Legion Post 52, and member of Sigma Theta Tau-National Nursing Honor Society. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 at 11:00 AM. Interment Lockport City Cemetery, Lockport, IL 60441.
