Alixa B. Wilczak (nee Alvarez)

62 of Oak Brook passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Hinsdale Hospital. Alixa was born in Cuba to the late Ruben D. and Luz Maria (nee Delgado) Alvarez. Beloved wife of Kenneth Wilczak; loving mother of Joseph (Melissa) Jepsen, and Alicia Jepsen; cherished grandmother of Liberty Virginia and Wyatt Ruben Jepsen; dear sister of Alina (late Robert) Murauskas and Alida (Don) Wagner; loved aunt of Angela (Steven) Sreckov, Michelle (Josh) Crites, Aaron (Stephanie) Murauskas, and Stephanie Murauskas; proud great-aunt of her godson Evan Mueller and Colin Mueller. Alixa cherished time spent with family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 3:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 7:00pm. Interment Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00am at Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Elmhurst, IL.
