Age 94, of Lockport passed away Sunday, November 1st, 2015 at her home in Lockport.

Ada is survived by her loving family, children, Donna Likar, Ron (Robin) Lif, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Huls, grandchildren, Dianna (Thomas) Skoczek, Dale (Christina) Likar, Dawn (Scott) Hoffman, Emily Lif, Natalie Lif, great grandchildren, Alexandra Skoczek, Thomas Skoczek, Hailey Likar, David Likar, numerous nieces, nephews and her beloved companion Mickey.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents, William & Helena Dollinger (Ehrfeld), husband, Roland C. Lif, siblings, Nina (late Russell) Anderson and Lillian (late William) Laue.

Ada was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church and graduate of St. Joseph grade school and Lockport Twp. High School class of 1939. She was a partner with her husband, Roland at RC Lif Construction Company. Ada & Roland were high school sweethearts who were married December 6, 1941 and celebrated 65 years of marriage before his passing on December 6, 2006.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Thursday, November 5th 2015 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Friday, November 6th 2015 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM then to St. Joseph Church, 410 S. Jefferson Street, Lockport, IL 60441 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Lockport City Cemetery, Lockport, IL. Memorial donations to the TLC Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
