Willys J. McArthur Jr. age 78, of Elwood, IL., passed away on Monday September 28, 2026, at his home. He was born in Chicago, IL. to the late Willys Sr. and Virginia (nee Stahl) McArthur. Bill is survived by his children Jason (Kelly) McArthur, Trisha (DeeJay) Flummerfelt, Lisa McArthur, additional children Barb (John) Quinlan, James (Christine) Kladis, Kristie (Joe) Campbell, George Kladis, many grandchildren, his loving partner Barb, sister Laurie (Brian) Koopman.

Bill will be remembered for his love of bowling, his passion for antique cars, and the many friendships he built throughout his life.

An avid bowler, Bill enjoyed spending time on the lanes throughout New Lenox, Channahon, and Wilmington, Illinois, where he shared his love of the sport and made lasting memories.

Bill also had a lifelong passion for antique cars, especially his beloved 1957 Chevy truck. He proudly belonged to two car clubs, the Romin’ Chariots and Tri-Chevy, where he enjoyed connecting with fellow car enthusiasts who shared his appreciation for classic automobiles.

Bill will be deeply missed by his family, friends, bowling companions, and fellow car enthusiasts. His memories, friendships, and love for the things that brought him joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL. 60451 on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2PM until 5PM.
