Lawrence "Larry" Hawes 74, of Bolingbrook IL was born in Cicero, Illinois to the late Leonard and Lee Hawes and passed away June 18, 2026. Beloved husband of 16 years to Carol (nee Koehler) Hawes; step father of Steve (Stephanie) Niemann; loving grandpa of Andrew Niemann; dear brother of Leonard (the late Mary) Hawes, Laurie (Paul) Marasco, and Lowell (Joanne Holubetz) Hawes Sr.; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Larry was a hard worker who took pride in everything he did. Larry worked for Gerald Auto Group, Naperville, Illinois for an impressive 35 years before retiring. In Larry's free time you could find him either on his Harley, at the lake house, or on the boat. However one thing was certain, he was holding a ice cold Miller Light. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel on Wednesday June 24th 2026 from 4-8pm. Chapel service will start at 7:30pm. Interment Private.
