Hans J Viebach Obituary

Hans J Viebach, 77, of Orland Park, IL, passed away on August 25, 2026.Hans J. Viebach was born on July 10, 1949, in Bad Mergentheim, Germany. After graduating from Crete-Monee High School, Hans enlisted and served in the US Army. He then went on to study Electrical Engineering at Purdue University.Those who knew Hans will remember him always offering a helping hand. He volunteered his time with many organizations on a regular basis, including caring for dogs at PAWS, assisting those with MS in hydrotherapy, working on natural areas restoration teams, and always helping out his neighbors.Hans also loved outdoor adventures. He was an avid sea kayaker and went on kayak camping trips across the country.He is survived by his children Chris (Jennifer) Viebach, John (Jamie) Viebach, and Katie (Wayne) Bogart; his former wife Teresa; and grandchildren Justin, Eliana, Lillian, and Liam.
