Charlene Joyce Schroeder (nee Marks)

Age 79 of New Lenox, IL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Charlene was born in Chicago Heights, IL to the late Mario and Gilda (nee Ursitti) Marks.

Beloved wife of Arnold “Arnie” Schroeder; loving mother of Mario Schroeder, Eric Schroeder, and Courtney (Steven) Frank; cherished grandmother of Colleen Wright, Ethan Frank, Dylan Frank, Grace Schroeder, and Braden Schroeder; dear sister of the late Kenneth Marks; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Charlene was a self-employed beautician for 50 years. She cherished the relationships she made during that time. Charlene and Arnie were married for 59 years. They were together for 63 years. Charlene enjoyed spending time in her garden planting flowers and hearing countless stories of her Grandkids.
