73, of New Lenox formerly of Riverdale passed away August 30, 2013. Beloved husband of Donna; Loving father of William Liptak, James (Anmarie) Kladis and Melissa Miska; dear brother of Joanne (late James) Davis, Cecelia (Jerry) English, Carole (late Danny) Lockard, Christopher (Judy) Kladis, Danny (Sue) Kladis and Michael Kladis; Cherished grandpa of William, Anthony, Samantha, Savanna, Elise, Mallory, Juliana and Larissa and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. George was a Veteran of the US Army, retired from Ford Motor Company Chicago Assembly Plant, a member of Masonic Temple, Shriners, and UARA Midget Racing Organization. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox IL 60451 on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 3-9pm with a Masonic and Shriners service at 7:00pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn 1 Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to American Cancer Society or American Lung Association would be appreciated.
